Reviews

What People Are Saying About "Translated":

"Translated" is well filmed with a critical message for the churches of today."
- Dr. Wayne Cordeiro, New Hope Christian College

“We have promoted many Christian films and were honored when Jerry Thompson invited us to preview his movie, “Translated.” We were immediately drawn in by the compelling storyline and the quality of the acting, sound recording and cinematography. Jerry cleverly weaves humor and romance into a tale that ultimately exposes a problem that plagues Christians today, just as it did 2000 years ago. Prepare to be entertained, enlightened and roused to action.”
- Greg and Melinda Wittekind

INCREDIBLE!!!! So well written and produced! I laughed, I cried, I was surprised sometimes, amazed at other times. Please pray for open doors to show this movie. Don't miss it when it comes around. You'll be so glad You saw it.

I was just at the movie “Translated” and came away very surprised and thankful how good this movie is. My wife and I go to many movies throughout the year. Your movie, I would compare very favorably to recent movies “I Can Only Imagine” and “Midnight Sun” as far as bringing my emotions to the surface. Well done and great job!
- Ron Baker

Translated is a movie that is entertaining and uplifting. A must see that shows some of Oregon’s beautiful changing scenery. The cast and crew create a seamless movie that opens your heart and mind to the possibilities of one church.

Very stunning production! I came with my girls and a few friends from church and loved it! My 6 year old daughter said it’s her favorite movie ever!
- Duane Smith

“Translated” was a very thought-provoking and inspiring movie. Time travel is a fascinating concept and what an experience it would be to meet our Biblical heroes. The performances were wonderful, especially Paul.
- Judy Reiber

Good movie with local actors and beautiful Oregon scenery. Great story line about the Apostle Paul. Showing thru Thursday at Valley River, I plan to take my Mom and see it again!

I went to see this at Regal Cinemas on the last showing. I’m so glad I did! This was a thought-provoking, emotional experience for me personally.
I can’t wait to show this to my family when it comes out on CD! This is a message “The Church” needs to hear. God bless Mr. Thompson and his team
for putting this production together. We need more films like this!

How do I get in touch with Pathway Media? I see you are looking at doing a movie about Susan La Flesche aka Bright Eyes?

  • Brad Cooke says:

Hi, How can I purchase the film in Canada?

  • Hello Everyone!

I absolutely had to reach out to you Jerry after my husband Marcus and I viewed “Translated” for the first time on Amazon Prime yesterday evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the story about our beloved Apostle Paul coming to life two millennia after he was taken from his earthly body! The plot was unique in that the message of divisiveness in the church body and the need for unity was both timely and fresh this wearisome world.

We would love to connect with you regarding two original Christ centered screen plays that Marcus has written. Feel free to peruse our website at http://www.marcusaallen.com. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

May the peace and love of our heavenly Father be with you always,

    Anne Marie Allen

Are the green T-shirt and hat in the movie available for sale?

  • Jesús says:

Thank you for all your attempt to bring all Christians together, so others can learn more about Jesus and hopefully accept his invitation.
I ‘m wondering if you have had the opportunity to do some digging about the change of Saturday to Sunday. I have been searching the Scriptures, but have found nothing. If you had, would you please share. Based on what I have found, it seems like the majority of Christians have it wrong, and that’s exactly what Satan wants.
I have watched the movie Translated and it seems you have been used by God but bring some light to the blind, as Paul wrote on 1 Corinthians 7:19: “Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.”, so wondering if you could do it again and make a movie about this very important topic. After all, the 7th Day Sabbath is one of His Commandments; the only one that says Remember, but the only one we seem to ignore.
Thank you again for your great work representing God and God bless you!

    • Hi. Thanks for your comments and question. Romans 14 says this: “One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it.”
      ‘t
Some claim this means one does not need to observe the Sabbath. I don’t agree with that. What I know is most about 99% of people who believe they are Christians do not observe the Friday to Saturday Sabbath. I would really like to observe the “real” Sabbath, but I don’t. But I also know that the Lord is in my life and has done miraculous things for me, even though I don’t observe the Sabbath, and He has for many others who don’t observe it. The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. I can’t spend any more time on this, and have other movie plans…not this issue. Thanks, Jesus…from Jerry
